Geh. I have to pick one memory? Bah! Okay, okay. I have to say that the first in-person meeting, oh, barely over a year ago now. Definitely one thing to be friends based on periodic im’ing drawn out over the span of a couple of years as opposed to that thing called an in person relationship.
Heh… I remember some stuff that is not going to go in a comments box *grin*
I remember meandering to your house waaaay back when — it was our first meeting and we ended up watching anime in the living room and were later joined by Bernie… surreal *grin*
Gee, so many memories so little time. *SIGH* I would have to say one of my most cherished memories would have to be seeing D on the big screen. Aside from seeing, imho, the mecca of all anime movies on a 50×50 screen; sharing it with my best friend made it more of a momentous event. *GRIN*

I clearly recall the first time I saw you online. You came into channel raving about how your son (the second one I believe) had just been born. I remember thinking how… dedicated? geeky? it was for someone to be on the computer talking all about their new child rather than being at the hospital still, or doing whatever else new parents do. Of course, having deepened in my own geekness now, I would probably have a wearable or laptop at the hospital and communicate from there if i were allowed. 😉
Oh, and just because I haven’t seen you in years, at the time I thought you were terribly cute (er, when i met you in person, that is).
Where to start? I remember our first in-person meeting, having lunch in a park & talking over a picnic table, trying to reconcile the person I knew from months of emails as my Number One Internet Fanboy with the funny, charming, damned nifty guy before me. I remember a few other visits in a park, too…snarky people-watching, laughing & being silly, surprising discoveries on a park bench, and bemoaning the insanity that we call Life.
I remember meeting you for the first time and thinking “What a nice, polite guy… I wonder when he finally lets his guard down…” And then, I got to see you with your guard down, and realized that we’re more alike than is necessarily good for people to be. But I’m so glad that I found a Piscean male to be friends with… Especially one with similar likes. 🙂
