Those of you who know me well know that I’ve often agonized about doing some serious writing. I want to be an accomplished novellist, dammit.
This is probably not the way for me to achieve that goal, but it would be good for getting me into the habit of writing. I’m seriously considering doing National Novel Writing Month, the goal of which is to produce a 50,000 novel in 30 days.
What do you think? Should I? Shouldn’t I?
UPDATE: Bzzt. Time’s up. I signed up to do it. May the gods have mercy on us all. Look for related webstuff appearing here between now and Sunday. And yes, Melissa, here’s their cute little logo:

Do it! Doesn’t it defy the purpose of NaNoWriMo to hem and haw, anyway? I’ve been thinking about doing it myself. Maybe if you do, I will feel inspired enough to get offa my lazy bum and write some words.
Well… I signed up. Only the gods know if that means anything.
Give it a rip, my man! I may even consider trying it myself. Looks very interesting.
Hey, my buddy Doyce has an inspiration help group for NaNoWriMo over at his place. He did it last year as well.

Good Luck!
It actually sounds like such a cool thing to do. I dunno…maybe I’ll…naw too much work. Best of luck to you my duckie! It’ll be hard and tedious, but you’ll feel so good in the end. 🙂
Sorry… here’s the actual link.

Awesome! I’m doing it too! Go us and our (probably horrible at least mine will be but you can speak for yourself, I’m not trying to imply yours would be crappy) novels
Good Luck!! I will live vicariously through you on this one 🙂
