Dawn and I picked up Erica this afternoon for a fun-filled romp around Lloyd Center. First we did lunch at the sushi-go-‘round outside the mall, during which even Yours Truly tried some things I would normally avoid at all costs. Then came a bit of mallrat time, during which shirts and games were purchased. (Okay, so Erica got a Go board. That’s all the gaming we got into today.) Finally, we saw the Hitchhiker’s movie.
(Short review: Funny overall, only sometimes laugh-out-loud funny, with several glaring unresolved plot threads and some not-quite-right characterization.)
Now we’re resting up for the main event of the weekend: Mari and Doug’s handfasting. Will we be ready? Will everything work as planned? Stay tuned and find out, folks…
