Duh! Unlike what my previous posting might have said, I really do have something interesting to say: Today I become the father of a teenager. That’s right, Alexander “The Spud” Kerezman turns 13 today.
Happy Birthday, my boy. I’m outstandingly proud of you, more than words can adequately express.

Happy B-Day Spud… I’d sing, but my singing’s all icky and stuff.
So today, I get one day to be proud of myself for being smart enough to keep myself alive for 13 years.
You’d better keep yourself alive a lot longer than that, boyo. Heh.
Seriously… you get to be proud of yourself for another year of accomplishments. Think about where you were a year ago and what you’ve done since then, and feel good about it.
I can’t believe that Alex is 13 years older than my kid.
