  • And now for a word from our sponsors.

We’d like to pause for station identification, and a word from one of our sponsors.

You’re viewing greyduck.net, broadcasting at T1-speeds from the wilds of Portland, Oregon.

    Our visiting sponsor says: “Persnickity.”

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Blogathon day.

  • Dinnertime

I’m going to go put some food in the oven now. I just wanted to wait until I could get this entry out of the way.

By the way, Age of Mythology is a great time-waster. Absolutely fantastic, I say. Mind you, it doesn’t give me much to write about… so I guess that’s a bad thing. Maybe I should go back to watching Lain instead.

    After dinner, though.

  • Bunnies for sale or rent…

Dawn wants the auburn-colored bunny, but can’t have it ’cause she lacks space for another rabbit. Even if it is cuter than hers.

Mari wants one of the bunny-babies, ’cause they’re cuter than all get-out. Sadly, her existing resident pets would see her new pet as a potential light snack. Ah well. Cats and bunnies don’t necessarily mix, now do they?

Me, I don’t want any of them. They make my nose itch, and they smell funny. They are absolutely adorable, though. Especially that gray one with the long hair and the white paw. Le sigh.

  • Over The Hump

That’s right, as of this posting I’m officially more than halfway through the Blogathon. You know what that means, don’t you?

It means we can only go downhill from here.

Yeah, I know, it scares me too. We may all be in for a bumpy ride…

  • Mari, Blogathon Moral Support Squad

So Mari dropped by (that’s why she called, see?) to see how I was getting along with this ‘thon thingie. That, and to see bunnies. And hold bunnies. And have bunnies claw her. And gasp as bunnies leaped off of her. And wish she could take a bunny home with her. And call Doug to ask if she could have a bunny. (He said no.)

She also tried playing a bit of Age of Mythology (you thought I was the one playing, didn’t you?) to see what kind of game Geoffrey’s been raving about all this time. She wasn’t impressed. Too much scrolling and what-not.

For additional fun, she put combs and crimpy-things in my hair. (Neat trick given my hair, wouldn’t you say?) She’s getting into the hair-braiding thing, and spent part of her time organizing some of her newly-acquired supplies.

As she was at the point of deciding to go grab some grub and head over to Lil’ and Geoffrey’s… she found that she’d locked her keys in her car. After setting a world record for jimmying her car door with a bent coat-hanger, she finally jetted off for her next rendezvous.

Thanks for stopping by, Mari! It’s never dull with you around… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
