It was a fine, fine morning. I woke up, bathed, dressed in one of my nicer shirts, put on my overcoat, grabbed my umbrella and went for a walk. Along the way I stopped for breakfast (at Burgerville, if you must know). After a while, I turned around and came home.
The fact that I walked, in the rain, to the Convention Center an entire week early has only marginally dimmed my overall mood.
Make of that what you will.

*hugs* It could be better. *snort* You could have gotten a letter saying that you have been “selected and scheduled” to participate in a “useful” program to help with your job search.
And all of the documentation for this? Assumes that I’m a proud member of the lowest rung of society and needs to waste 3 hours in a class to learn what I already know on job hunting and associated bullshit.
So not looking forward to /that/ little gem.
