Gustav (yes, the Gustav) sent me the following bit of amusement. It’s an Engadget homage, of sorts, to the heady days of yore, back when we engaged in all sorts of wild speculation about what computing technology would be like in the years to come.

ARGH! I feel OLD!
I can’t believe that i, at one time, prized my precious portable discman with it’s 5 pund battery that only kept a charge for one hour and skipped if you looked at it wrong. *groan*
Those were just wrong i tell you, WRONG!
So scary. Luckily I was only eight at the time.
