Okay, so I’m pretty evenly split between artsy flicks and popcorn movies. A few of these fall into the “under duress” category, but most of them I watched of my own free will.

Almost half of the time I spent on this list was devoted to translating some of the Japanese and Chinese movie titles. It was time well spent, of course, since now I can show off what an art-film snob I am.
