It’s not every duck who gets to help mow the yard, but our friend here seems up to the challenge. And on such a fun-looking mower, too!
Thanks to Donna Leahey for bringing us the continued adventures of Sailor Duck. Just one day left…

Stepping outside, we have Donna Leahey’s Sailor Duck perched atop some firewood.
We’re mid-week for Sailor Duck On Stuff. Where does the time go?
It’s an actual loom. How cool is that? Thanks again to Donna Leahey for sending in this one.
A loom, I tell you!
Surprise!
I didn’t actually expect people to chime in with offers of ducks on stuff, but already friend Donna Leahey has given us a whole week of new material. Awesome! Check back each day this week (or simply subscribe to the RSS feed) to see her Sailor Duck on something different. Two of them are real treats, too.
This is so cool.
I suppose that if you want to get pedantic, what Amethyst is settled upon could more accurately be termed “a piece of driftwood.”
Ordinarily I approve of a certain amount of pedantry, but today I just don’t care.
So! This concludes my first run of available pictures of Ducks On Stuff. Would you like more? Would you like to contribute? Say the word and it shall be done…
We shall not pretend that this photograph offers much dignity for Poe, but come on: It’s a thing, and I was able to perch a duck on it.
This is what we do here, folks.
