One of the bosses decided that instead of buying canned air in bulk, we’d just get an air compressor instead.
In related news, there aren’t very many interesting things around the office on which to place a duck. In unrelated news, I need to do a better job of checking the pictures for obscuring fingers before posting them.

Putting the “amateur” in “amateur photography,” here’s a blown-out picture of a duck on some shrubbery.

It’s not a very imaginative thing to put a duck on, perhaps, but the trees along the newly-created Veterans Drive were freshly planted and young and sparse at the time. One of them provided a perfectly formed and accessible perch, so here we are.

My route to and from work takes me past the Washington County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro Oregon. When it’s time for an event, you often see hay bales as boundary markers.
Technically there are “No Tresspassing” signs posted all around the fairgrounds. I doubt, however, that anyone really would have objected had they seen me walk the ten feet from the sidewalk to the hay bale for this shot.
