Month: August 2005

  • Jiggity Jig

I’m home from my trip. Had a good time. Ate good food, fixed a computer, put a smile on someone’s face. Several smiles, actually. Train rides weren’t too annoying. Squalling babies in various places were, though. Now I just have to get enough restful sleep tonight to enjoy tomorrow.

Coherence will come later. Just wanted to let you (my faithful readers) know that I’m home safe and sound and generally happy. Thank you.

  • North for the Weekend

I probably won’t be posting tomorrow, as I fully expect to be having a delightful time in Seattle this weekend. No time for silly website stuff, you know.

See you Sunday night. Or even Monday, if I’m feeling particularly lazy.

Oh, yeah: I resurrected the excerpts from my 2002 NaNoWriMo efforts. Enjoy, if you’re so inclined.

  • Tinkering. Fiddling. Futzing.

It’s a scary thing, when a geek starts getting restless. He (or she) is prone to puttering around looking for something to tweak, install, experiment upon, or otherwise futz with.

Today, I got restless. One subtle result is a slightly-modified site banner. Less-subtle results may appear in the next week or so… if, by then, I’m still interested in the projects I started today. Such is the nature of the geek-dilettante.

  • Glass. Probably not liquid.

I conked my head but good, last night, so I’m not really coherent enough to write anything of my own. Instead I’ll offer you the following link for your education and mythbusting edification.

    Is glass liquid or solid?

  • Bad Boyfriend, no biscuit.

I also forgot to mention, a couple of weeks ago, that early this month marks two years that a certain someone and I have been “going out.”

Time flies when you’re having fun, eh? Here’s to many more years, happier years. Love you lots, beautiful!

  • Bad Dad, no biscuit.

Duh! Unlike what my previous posting might have said, I really do have something interesting to say: Today I become the father of a teenager. That’s right, Alexander “The Spud” Kerezman turns 13 today.

Happy Birthday, my boy. I’m outstandingly proud of you, more than words can adequately express.
