Day: July 26, 2003

  • Getting a load off.

What do you know? I was a productive member of the household for almost half an hour. I unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, which also meant cleaning out the sink and throwing away all kinds of foodstuffs left out for the flies to graze upon.

Next time, garbage. No, not Shirley Manson and company, sad to say.

Also next time, pictures. Not of bunnies, sadly (still waiting for Erica to be home for that) but of what happens when plastic utensils are left in an oven when that oven is turned on by someone who didn’t know that dirty dishes were being stored therein. Yeah, it’s kinda neat but mostly just geeky.

And it’s bloggable, which is what this is all about: Finding goofy things to fill 24 hours’ worth of entries. Yeah.

  • Death of a plastic utensil.

Whoopsie. Note to self, always check the oven before turning it on.

    Always.

  • Music Eclectica

I have an organized collection of music files here on my computer, but I don’t rip all of every CD I have for my listening pleasure. This means that I have a catch-all directory, and when I got done listening to some anime soundtrack selections I decided to queue up a few tracks out of “AllTheRest.”

A few. Okay, it totals three and a half hours of music, and it’ll give you an idea of the kinds of things I listen to:

    What do you think, eh?

  • Snacky Goodness

Wendi and the kids have returned. The children are cleaning their room in anticipation of The Great Bunny Photo Shoot, and Wendi’s preparing for her impending DJ gig. Me, I’m chowing on Wheat Thins, drinking Mug root beer, and looking forward to lots of orange juice, corn dogs and chicken.

That’s right. We now how to live, baby.

  • Wendi, back and gone again.

Wendi arrived from her DJ gig, flush with tip money. Woo hoo! I unloaded her van, and now she’s off to the store to pick up things we’ll need for tomorrow and what-not. Then she’s going to hit the hay since she has another very busy day ahead.

Lucky her. Sorta. At least I’ll have the luxury of sleeping parts of my day away tomorrow.

  • A full hour of… bunnies!

Don’t thank me, thank my sponsors!

Next time, a real entry. Honest…
